Check Sieve and ManageSieve support before you sync.

Sieve is the server-side mail-filter language. ManageSieve is the RFC 5804 protocol used to remotely inspect, validate, upload, and activate Sieve scripts.

Choose the supported workflow

Provider accepts Sieve files

Use olrx export or tbrx export, then srtx generate. You do not need ManageSieve credentials.

Provider exposes ManageSieve

Use olrx run, tbrx run, srtx, or msieve to preview and manage scripts remotely.

Not a fit: a provider without Sieve support cannot run Transiever-generated mail rules. Sieve support alone also does not prove that ManageSieve is available.

Known provider context

Capabilities, TLS requirements, enabled Sieve extensions, quotas, and webmail editor behavior differ by provider. Preview the exact candidate before deployment.

Next step

For mail-client migration, choose classic Outlook rules to Sieve or Thunderbird filters to Sieve. For direct server operations, start with the ManageSieve CLI.
